A small team witha big reason to care.

We make books, practice, and support for students in Classes 6–8, used in schools across India. This page is about how we work — and the kind of people we work well with.

We sweat the detailsnobody sees.

A clumsy example or a question in the wrong place is invisible to almost everyone — except the student stuck on it. So we take our time over the small stuff: the wording of a hint, where a question sits, what to cut. It's slower work, and it's the whole job.

The best idea wins, whoever has it.

Often the best idea in a meeting isn't the manager's. It might be an editor's, a designer's, or something the field team picked up on a school visit. We try to follow the idea, not the job title.

We work steady,not frantic.

No midnight scrambles, no crunch weeks. We plan, we work at a sane pace, and we finish what we start — then we keep fixing and improving it after it's out the door.

The texture of working here

The one rule

Students first, always.

Every book, every feature, every school visit comes back to one question: does this help a Class 6–8 student learn with confidence? When we can’t decide something else, this decides it.

The Studymaxx team together

Craft over shortcuts

We’d rather do a few things properly than a lot of things in a hurry. It shows in the work.

Real ownership

You build it, you support it, and the credit is yours. Nobody stands between you and the work.

We listen, then improve

Specimen copies, teacher calls, school visits — real classrooms tell us what to fix. A teacher proving us wrong is a good day.

Things you’ll hear a lot

Every team picks up its own shorthand. Ours says a fair bit about what matters to us.

Would a 12-year-old get this?Fewer, better. What did the teachers say?Ship it, then support it.Read it out loud.Make it simpler.Whose desk does this land on?Let's look at the chapter again.

One honest note

No open roles right now.

We don’t hire often, and we’re careful when we do. But we like meeting people who care about education. If that’s you, tell us a bit about yourself and what you’d want to work on.
